It’s harvest time in the Tuscan region of Italy and we created this necklace, along with the other pieces in the set, so you could experience the soft, warm colors of a Tuscan Autumn all year long.
This necklace features Millefiori beads that were originally invented, in Italy, over a millenium ago. Somewhere in the 18th century, the art of making Millefiori beads was lost but, thankfully, was rediscovered a little over a century ago.
Today, in this necklace, we have a wonderful example of why Millefiori glass is so treasured. Each bead is a veritable garden of tiny, glass flowers.
We only have a limited number of the Millefiori beads, so when they are gone, we will retire this design. Please don’t miss out on this little treasure.
